Google recently announced the release of a broad core algorithm update via Twitter and on August 1, it was fully rolled out.

For the time being, Google is not recommending any specific action to fix any ranking fluctuation that may occur due to this update. Google Search Liaison Danny Sullivan also confirmed on Twitter that this was a global rollout, meaning it will impact Google search results worldwide, regardless of language or region.

#2 Google Launches “Cameos” App Which Lets Celebs and Public Figures Answer Questions from Search Results

Google is making it easier for webmasters to verify their sites in Google Search Console.

Users who have verified their web property in Google Analytics will have it automatically verified in Google Search Console as well.

Earlier, users could up speed up the verification process by having a Google Analytics verified website, but the process still had to be initiated manually. But with this new update, the whole process will be automated.
